Boiler servicing is highly recommended on all gas boilers and every manufacture states it is best practice to service every 12 months. Due to this most home insurance packages will be invalid if you do not get the boiler serviced every year.

Modern condensate boilers are much more efficient than there non-condensate counterparts but are much more volatile due to the new more efficient combustion process.

Manufacturers have made boiler more efficient saving you money and making a greener UK but they are significantly more dangerous. Obviously there are strict practices in place and this is another good reason to get them serviced every year. It’s the safest way and may save you money in the long term as the boiler will be less likely to break down due to working harder in scaled up conditions. Lime scale will also reduce the efficiency of all boilers.
